Frequently asked questions

Q) Do you carry full insurance and do you have permission to work in our marina?

A) Yes, we carry full professional, public indemnity and liability insurance and we are registered with most marinas on the Thames and South coast.

Q) What is the difference between valeting and detailing?

A) Valeting is more of a simple wash type procedure, detailing on the other hand is just as the name suggests, the focus goes more into the details.
Detailing can be described as the systematic, rejuvenation and protection of each cosmetic surface individually.

Q) What areas do you cover?

A) We are based in Guildford, Surrey and most of our work is carried out on the River Thames and the South Coast, however we are willing to travel to any location.

Q) What products will be used on my boat and can I trust that they will work?

A) We only use products that are fully tried and tested over years of use, every now and then new products come onto the market that impress us enough to replace the old. The products we use are not cheap, in fact they are quite expensive in comparison to others, but they are cost effective and they help us provide the results we are both after, first time, every time.

Q) Can you be discreet?

A) Of course, we have clients who demand the highest privacy with regard to their details and movements.

Q) I will not be able to check up on your work straight after you have finished, how can I be sure you have performed what I have asked?

A) It is common that a client will not be able to see the results first hand on completion, therefore we take extensive before and after photos and e-mail them to you after our work has finished for your approval. We would be thrilled if you can be there to inspect personally, as this is probably the most rewarding part of our work.
